Helka Ceramics is an independent ceramics label founded by Lisa Kosak, a Belgian designer who has lived for over a decade in Berlin, where she discovered her love for ceramics. Lisa creates stoneware pieces for the table and home, designed to elevate the daily routines—from your morning coffee to endless dinners with friends. Each piece is carefully handcrafted in her Berlin studio, with the potter’s wheel at the center of her work.

FOR THOSE WHO TOOK A FULL CLASS WITH US OR HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH CLAY, THE STUDIO OFFERS MEMBERSHIPS FOR INDEPENDENT PRACTICE. REFINE YOUR WHEELTHROWING SKILLS AND PRACTICE AT YOUR OWN PACE, USING ALL THE CLAY, GLAZES AND EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE AT THE STUDIO.

I LOVE WORKING CLOSELY WITH MY CLIENTS TO CRAFT PIECES THAT WILL FIT YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND HEIGHTEN THE EXPERIENCE WITHIN IT.

A favourite shape in the cup collection, they’re the ideal companion to your lazy morning gallon of coffee, your your afternoon pick-me-up tea or your 3.2 litre of recommended daily water intake (exactly 8 cups).
Over the years, Helka ceramics has developed numerous collections that work together or alone, and that can easily be combined according to one’s tastes.
Each piece is made with love by hand and unique, either thrown on the potter’s wheel or handbuilt. They can therefore have slight variations in shape, colour and size. All products are dishwasher safe and foodsafe, but as any handcrafted piece, they need love and care and washing them by hand is recommended.
